I'm really happy to make the team for Barbados. I didn't have a very good first day because I had problems with my high jump and hurdles. Today was much better for me. I was more consistent and was able to win. It's nice to know that I can come back from a bad first day.

Danielle Ayers-Stamper - 2nd place

My goal coming into this event was to get drug tested because that meant I finished in the top three! I jumped 18-5 (long jump) today, which really made me happy. I had a problem with back spasms a couple weeks ago, which might've kept me from competing here. I got some good treatment and was able to perform well.

I am happy with my performances today. I had a PR in the javelin throw by 15 feet. I know I can repeat and throw farther because I like PR-ing. I am disappointed in the discus throw, I thought I would throw better. (Tomorrow) I am looking forward to my rematch with Tommy Skipper in the junior men's pole vault.
