2003 IAU 100 km World Cup The following procedures will be used to select six men and six women to represent the USA at the 2003 IAU 100 km World Cup. All selected athletes and alternates will be notified on or before July 15, 2003 with an official team announcement to follow. Men Men's team selection is based on recent performances in highly competitive events and current form. The top three men at the 2002 USA 100 km Championships will automatically be named to the USA National 100 km Team providing they meet the 7:35 standard at that race. Women Women's team selection is based on 100 km performances under 8:35, 50 mi. performances under 6:50, and other significant ultra performances between the period of June 1, 2002 and June 30, 2003 and recent form. The top three women at the 2002 USA 100 km Championships will automatically be named to the USA National 100 km Team providing they meet the 8:35 standard at that race. |
