Duyst has served 16th seasons as Track and Field coach and Cross Country coach at California State University-Stanislaus (CSU) for both men's and women's programs. Under her guidance, the men's track and field was the first team in CSU history to win a conference title. In her first 15 years at CSU, 48 athletes earned All-American honors, and four have won individual national titles. Duyst was President of NCAA Division II Track and Field Coaches Association from 1992-94. She was the 1991 Coach of the Year in the NCAC for women's cross country, and has served Team USA as an Assistant Manager at the 1999 World Outdoor Championships and the 1993 World University Games. She came to CSU-Stanislaus from coaching positions at the University of West Virginia and Syracuse University. |
