Entry Information

You must be a 2002 USATF member to enter the meet.  If you do not have a 2002 membership number, please complete a membership application first.  You must also have been born after July 29, 1983 and be a U.S. citizen or foreign national residing in the U.S.

Meeting the performance guidelines is encouraged but not required. The performance guidelines are provided as a best estimate of the performance required to earn a medal in this years Championship.

Age Divisions

Competition is conducted in five-age divisions for boys and girls, based on year of birth. Age divisions and corresponding birth years are as follows:

• Bantam (1992-later)

• Midget (1990-1991)

• Youth (1988-1989)

• Intermediate (1986-1987)

• Young Men/Women (1984-1985; athletes born in 1983 are also eligible if they will still be 18 on July 29, 2002)

Competitors must compete in their age division only. "Moving up in any event, including relays, is not allowed. Competitors in the Bantam and Midget divisions may compete in a maximum of three events, including relays. Those in the Youth, Intermediate, and Young Men/Women divisions may compete in a maximum of four events, including relays. Combined events are not including in the event count.
