Airport Information

Athletes traveling by air to the Hepthalon/Decathlon Championships may find it convenient to fly into Oakland International Airport (approximately a 30 - 40 minute commute) or San Francisco International (approximately 45-50 minute commute). San Jose Airport is another option however, the commute is approximately 1-1/2 - 2 hours and the shuttle charge is costly.

Athletes may arrange shuttle service from Oakland International Airport, San Francisco International, and San Jose Airport through the following services:

Oakland International Airport

• Oakland International Airport has numerous shuttles that provide service to Berkeley. For complete information visit www.oaklandairport.com and click on "ground transportation". Most shuttle services require reservations.
• Bayporter Express is recommended by the Berkeley Convention & Visitors Bureau. Call Bayporter Express (800-287-6783) at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival to make a reservation.

San Francisco International Airport

• Bayporter Express - 415-467-1800. Walk-up service welcome, if space available. Reservations requested.

San Jose Airport
