Medals will be awarded to the top six finishers - gold for 1st, silver for 2nd, and bronze for 3rd - 6th.

Prize Money

For the 2002 USA Outdoor Combined Events Championships, USA Track & Field will pay prize money to first through fifth place finishers. The prize structure is as follows:

Notes:

• Athletes with remaining collegiate eligibility are not eligible to receive this prize money.
• Athletes who are over the income cap (over $125,000) are not eligible to receive these basic grant funds.
