Entry Information
You must be a 2002 USATF member to enter the Championships.
If you do not have a 2002 membership number, please complete a membership
application first. You must also be a U.S. citizen, be at least 14
years old on the day of competition but not turn 20 years old during 2002, and meet the
qualifying
standards.
The entry fee for the Championships is $10 per individual
event and $10 for the multi-events (heptathlon/decathlon). Late entries incur an additional $25 late fee per
event. All fees are non-transferable
and non-refundable.

- To enter the Championships, you will be required to provide your 2002 USATF
membership number. If you are not already a member, please join
now.
- All entries must be accompanied by a copy of a legal document (birth
certificate or passport) in order to verify date of birth and citizenship.
Please submit a copy of this document, as it will not be returned.
- Entries must also be accompanied by a proof of performance (copy of
official results, newspaper report, etc.) to show that you have met the
qualifying standard.
- By postal mail - All mailed entries must be received by 5:00 pm ET
on Tuesday, June 11 (or received by 12:00 noon ET on Thursday, June
20 for late entries). Make
certified checks or money orders payable to: "USA Track & Field." Mail the completed application and payment to:

Declaration Process
Once properly entered, you must complete the declaration process:
- Each athlete must declare whether he/she will or will not compete in each event
he/she has entered.
Declarations for running/field events must be done by telephone 317-360-0006 on
Monday - Tuesday, June 17 - 18, from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
ET. Fax and mail
declarations will NOT be accepted. Information on declarations for
multi-events will be e-mailed to registered athletes.
- When making a declaration, please have all the following information
available:
- Athletes name
- Athletes affiliation
- Event(s) declaring
- Event(s) scratching
- Best qualifying mark for each event
- When and where the mark was made, including meet name, meet director, facility, location & date
- Phone number for call back questions
- Athletes not declaring by 8:00 pm ET, Tuesday June 18th, will be scratched from the competition.
- Petitions for late declaration will be accepted at the meet site through 12:00
noon ET on Thursday, June 20 and must be accompanied by a $25 late
fee per event.
