John Rembao - Women's Assistant Coach

Rembao has spent four years as an assistant coach for the University of Texas women's track and cross-country teams. Before Texas, Rembao coached at the University of Arizona and Cal Poly-SLO.

He has served on two United States Olympic Festival coaching staffs - in 1994 as head coach for the West Team, and in 1993 as coach for the West's jumps and throws competitors.

In 1992 and 1993, Rembao was named NCAA Cross Country Regional Coach of the Year.

Rembao graduated from Cal Poly-SLO in 1986 with a degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. As an undergraduate, Rembao helped the Mustangs to the 1979 NCAA Division II National Championship.
