Cohen won her first indoor 3,000m race walk title in 13:51.29 at the 2007 AT&T USA Indoor Track & Field Championships…She began race walking in high school. After graduating from the University of New York at Albany, she relocated to Wisconsin to train with coach Mike DeWitt of the University of Wisconsin - Parkside...her son, Ephraim Cohen Michael Slamka, was born on April 5, 2005.
