Career Highlights: 3rd at 2001 USA Outdoors; 9-time NCAA All-American.

A seven-time Big West Conference champion while at Utah State University, Parker also earned NCAA All-American status nine times during his career. Parker was named the 1995 Big West Track Athlete of the Year after winning conference titles that year in the shot put, discus and hammer. Parker owns Utah State school records in the indoor shot put (18.34m/60-2.25) and weight throw (21.57m/70-9.25), and outdoor school records in the shot put (18.28m/59-11.75), discus (58.56m/192-1) and hammer (73.32m/240-7). As a prep, Parker lettered three times for coach Rudy Jones at Northridge HS. A former Utah state discus champion, Parker is also a two-time state shot put champA member of the Mormon faith, Parker did not compete in 1996 and '97 while he was on his religious mission one of four childrenmarried to Kamillamajored in Communications at Utah State.
