Williamson placed 6th at the 2008 Olympic Trials – Track & Field, which qualified him for the Team USA relay pool for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, however, he was not selected to compete at the Games. Williamson finished fourth at the 2007 USA Outdoor Championships before winning a gold medal in the 4x400m relay at the World Outdoor Championships in Osaka, Japan…Along with a 4th place finish at the USA Outdoor Championships, 2006 also saw a gold medal at the World Cup in the 4x400m and an indoor American record in the 4x400m…Williamson had a terrific 2005 season highlighted by winning a gold medal in the 4x400m relay at the World Outdoor Championships, and posting a new personal best time in the 400 meters with his 44.27 performance in the semifinals at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. That performance was the third-fastest time in the world in 2005…Williamson placed fourth in the men's 400 meters at the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials in 44.70 seconds, and was later added to the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team roster as a member of the men's 4x400m relay pool. He ran the anchor leg for Team USA in Athens, whose winning time of 2:55.91 was the fastest in the world since 1998...Earlier in 2004 Williamson placed fourth at the NCAA Indoor Championships and sixth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Set PR of 44.51 on May 29, 2004 in runner-up finish at College Station, Texas. He was the only man to beat Baylor teammate and Olympic gold medal winner Jeremy Wariner during the 2004 season. Williamson and Wariner led the Baylor 4x400-meter relay to a pair of national titles in 2004, setting an NCAA indoor record at 3:03.96 and clocking the fastest collegiate time this season of 3:01.03 at the NCAA outdoor meet.  He is an experienced international competitor, with the 2002 world junior title to his credit…A four-year letter-winner at Holmes High School in San Antonio, Texas, Williamson won both the 200m and 400m at the 2001 Texas state championships and was a member of the 1999 4x400 Texas state championship team…he holds the school records in the 200m and 400m with times of 20.91 and 46.12, respectively…he also lettered in football in his two final years as a Husky.
