Bryant found a perfect opportunity to reach a new personal best in the shot put at the 2007 US Outdoor Championships…His toss of 20.14m/66-1 landed him in fourth place, which secured him a Team USA roster spot for the 2007 World Outdoor Championships…The finish at the Outdoor Championships concluded a standout domestic season for Bryant that included championships in the shot put at both the NCAA indoor and outdoor meets competing for the University of Southern California. As a prep star in California, Bryant won the state shot put title in 2002 as a senior at Carpinteria (Calif.) High...His PR of 20.58m/67-6.5 at the Golden West Meet was the third-best prep mark in the nation in 2002...He also threw the hammer a personal-best of 60.75m/199-3 at Golden West... A three-time prep All-American in the shot, Bryant had a PR of 51.90m/170-3 in the discus…a public policy and management major at USC.
