Born in Great Britain, Asigbee went to high school in Iowa and college in Missouri. She took third at the 2005 USA Outdoor Championships with a personal best 5,994 points in the heptathlon and then went on to set a new personal best in taking third again at the 2006 AT&T USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Asigbee, at 25 years old, is still young for her event… secured victory in the women's heptathlon at the inaugural North America, Central America, and Caribbean (NACAC) Combined Event Championships, she was part of a 1-2-3 American sweep in the event.
