Prior to the USA Indoor championships, Daigle-Bowen had just one professional victory to her credit at the 2005 Millrose Games. She blasted out of the blocks in the women's 60 meters to run a stunning time of 7.09 seconds that tied for the fastest time in the world this year and a huge personal best for the 28-year-old. Daigle-Bowen accepted her $25,000 prize from Visa as the female Visa Champion of the Visa Championship Series. Daigle-Bowen is ranked #1 on the all-time Fresno State University list in the 100m (11.34) and the 200m (23.34)in 1996, Daigle-Bowen won the Athlete of the Year award at Fresno State. She helped lead the Bulldogs to the WAC Championships runner-up finish in the 4x100m relay. She also had a runner-up finish in the 100m at the 1999 WAC Championships.
