A nine-time NCAA All-American, Potter took his success to the
international level when he won the 2003 Pan Am Games and also won 4x400m relay
gold at the World Outdoor championshipshe now looks to be a vital part of Team
USAs 4x400m relay at the World Outdoor Championshipsplaced third in the 400m
at 2003 NCAA outdoor meet with a time of 44.58, the third-fastest time in the
world at that point of the season, in a race that was a near dead heat from
first through thirdled Gophers to a 2003 Big Ten outdoor team title by winning
the 400m and helping 4x400m relay to the conference crownnamed the Most
Outstanding Performer of the Big Ten Outdoor Championshipshonored as the NCAA
