Career Highlights: Two-time NCAA Div. II heptathlon champion; third at 2002 USA Outdoor Championships

Arguably the best female track athlete in Northern Colorado history, Schiemenz placed eighth in the high jump at the 2000 NCAA Div. II Outdoor Championships and earned an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship in 2000...she was named the Female National Track and Field Athlete of the Year in 2000 by the United States Track Coaches Associationshe graduated from UNC in 1999 with a degree in communications and earned her masters degree in 2002. Along the way, she has steadily improved as a heptathlete, earning her first U.S. ranking in 2002has struggled with foot injuries in 2003 and 2004.
