Greer earned her second straight outdoor All-America honor in the long jump with her third place finish at the 2001 NCAA Championshipsher final leap of the competition, a seasonal best of 6.42m/21-0.75, vaulted her from seventh place to thirdher banner 2002 season ended with a third-place finish at USA Outdoors and a #3 ranking in the U.S., the highest ranking of her career. She also was ranked #8 nationally in 2001. As a prep standout, Greer won Georgia state championships in the 200m and long jump as a junior, and the 100m hurdles and 4x100m relay as a seniorbroke the regional Georgia state high school long jump record with a leap of 6.25m/20-6.25, which ranked as the second-best long jump by a prepster in 1998-99a Communications major at Arizona State.
