Warlick trained in classical ballet for nine years as a child, but eventually chose sports over dance. She was a nationally ranked hurdler and Texas state 5A champion in high school and met coach Tom Tellez at the age of thirteen at the University of Houston track camp, where she watched the likes of Carl Lewis, Leroy Burrell and Mike Marsh train. She decided then that she wanted to be a part of the Santa Monica TC started vaulting because girls weren't allowed to vault at the time Warlick has been vaulting since 1998 and is still learning the sport"I wonder how much higher I can go with more experience" now trains with Kyle Tellez, son of Tom Tellez took a leave of absence from Stanford to train for the 2000 Olympics plans to finish her Economics degree at Harvard University works a model in Houston volunteers with high schools and community organizations as a public speaker.

2001: 2nd at USA Outdoors (4.40m/14-5.25) 3rd at USA Indoors (4.36m/14-3.50)no-height at World Champs ranked #4 in U.S. by T&FN best of 4.50m/14-9.
2000: 6th at Olympic Trials (4.18m/13-08.50) best of 14-3.25.
1999: DNC (injured, stress fracture in take-off leg)
1998: 7th at USA Outdoors 3rd at Pac-10 Championships 10th at NCAA Outdoors best of 12-7.5.
