Career Highlights: Big West champion in both 400m hurdles and heptathlon; 3rd, 1993 World University Games 400m hurdles; 7th in semifinals at 1995 World Champs; 4th, 1996 Olympic Trials.

Davis started running as a grade schooler. When a classmate bragged that she had made the track team, Davis said, "You know I can beat you. Now go back and tell the coach I can beat you." She was soon on the team. As a high schooler, she won three Texas state titles: the 400m and HJ as a senior (1987) and the 400m as a junior. In college, she was made into a heptathlete, a pastime she quickly gave up upon graduation: "I hated it, though I really liked the camaraderie with the other athletes"earned her degree in communications; as an intern with Channel 13 news in Las Vegas, she wrote the weekend news: "I decided that wasn't what I wanted, and I let it go"currently works in urban services at the Phoenix Downtown YMCA, dealing with at-risk youthmarried to former Baylor 800m star Terril Davis, who ran a lifetime best 1:44.44 for 5th at the '92 Olympic Trialshe now works as a design engineermaiden name was Williamspronounces her first name: "Tree-vee-a"says her biggest goal is Sydney: "So far, so good."
