Biography

Dee Dee has been running competitively 27 years. She recently met a longtime goal to compete and place in the top three in every event from 100 meters to 100 km.

In their own words...

Running achievement I am most proud of: I am most proud of my 57.9 400 meter in New York after 5 years of training and running a 50 km 50-54 AR and the year before running a 800 meter AR in Stanford, CA.

Why I run: I enjoy the solitude of ultra running and being on the trails. In track I only wanted to get off the track and get on the trails.

Future Goals: To be healthy in my senior years so I can continue to run in the backcountry.

Favorite quote: It doesn't matter what lies behind, it doesn't matter what lies ahead, what matters is what lies within.
