In their own words...
Running achievement I am most proud of: Running my first ultra (50k Run on the Sly, 2001) with my mom, Dee Dee. We ran together the whole time. We had a great time and kept each other going.
Why I run: I enjoy running. I like the challenge of seeing just how far and fast I can go. Competing keeps we motivated to get out the door and run, especially in those less-than-ideal running days.
Future Goals: To keep improving my race times. Fast-pack the John Muir Trail.
Favorite quote: Don't let a small defeat get in the way of a big victory.
