In their own words...
Running achievement I am most proud of: The 2000 season, where I won 8 ultras, four of which were 100 mile races, and was the first woman under 17 hours for a trail 100 (16:03 at RR)
Why I run: I love the solitude. I love the camaraderie. I love the pure physical challenge of the sport.
Future Goals: To continue running the rest of my life.
Favorite quote: That which does not kill us makes us stronger.

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
