While at LSU, Durst helped the Lady Tigers to four NCAA team titles…Durst’s track career started at an early age when, as a high school junior, she teamed up with two of her Texas prep teammates and a Washingtonian to grab silver in the 4x100-meter relay on the second day of the IAAF World Youth Track & Field Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The team of Ginnie Powell, Ashley Mitchell, Raasin McIntosh and Durst covered the track in 45.40 seconds to win silver, behind Jamaica’s winning 44.30. She was also a member of the gold medal winning Sprint Medley Relay with La’Shauntea Moore, Christy Fairley and Monique Henderson, who got the baton around the track in 2:07.71…Durst was the Texas state champion in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays in 1999 and 2000.
