Cohen won her first indoor 3,000m race walk title in 13:51.29 at the 2007 AT&T USA Indoor Track & Field Championships…She began race walking in high school. In the early stages of her career, she attended two race walking camps in Maine where she received coaching, technique critique, & information about race walking at USATF meets.

2007: 3rd in 20km RW at USA Outdoors (1:40:53); USA 5 km RW champion (23:39)…USA Indoor 3km RW champion (13:51.29)...ranked #2 in the U.S. by T&FN.
2006: 3rd in 20km RW at USA Outdoors (1:40:29)…ranked #3 in the U.S. by T&FN.
