Three Rivers Association is using TCI LogiQ to carry out the checks.
This is the only background check we will accept
We cannot accept any other form of background check performed by another company
or the Pennsylvania State Police
| How to Comply: |
- Obtain a current year USATF Membership #
- Complete a Coaches/Volunteer Registration Form
- Go to TC LogiQ website
for the background check
- You enter your information and pay by credit card
- Cost is $18

| Results: |
- TCI LogiQ performs the background check and will notify you via email when it's complete.
- Any negative results will be forwarded to a USATF panel (no local involvement)
- This panel may ask for information or clarification and then will make a final decision
- A link to a list of approved coaches will be posted on our Club List page
- There will be two lists - one overall list for our association and another for each individual club
- Any individual who is declined by the national panel for a failed check will not be listed in any format from USATF nationaly or localy.

| Enforcement: |
- New and Renewing Clubs will be listed as ‘Provisional’ until their coaches/volunteers have been screened through the Background screening check process.
- Clubs that have all their coaches/volunteers pass the screening checks will be listed as ‘Fully Accredited’.
- New or Renewal Youth Organizational club applications will NOT be processed nor accredited until all their Coach and Volunteer applicants have been processed through the Criminal background Screening check.
- This means, of course, that until the club paperwork is processed and accepted that Clubs will NOT have USATF insurance coverage.
- Once a Youth club has been accredited and then intends to add new coaches or volunteers, these applicants may NOT participate in the Club program UNTIL they have successfully passed the background check.
- ‘Provisional’ clubs MAY NOT participate in any meet as a ‘Club’.
- Individual Athletes from a ‘Provisional’ Club may compete as an ‘Unattached’ athlete only.
- Youth Clubs that violate this mandate risk being decertified as registered clubs of USATF Three Rivers.
- Three Rivers will issue credentials to all coaches/volunteers that complete and meet the background check.
*Note: The credentials will be issued and certified by solely by Three Rivers Association . USATF Nationally has no part in the process of issuing these credentials to our coaches and volunteers. |
| About the Approved Coaches List |
- The approved coaches list indicates coaches that successfuly went thru the screening process.
- If a coach/volunteer does not appear on the list, there are two possible explainations:
- The coach/volunteer did not go thru the screening process
- The coach/volunteer did not pass the USATF criteria for background checks
