5K Championship Series

Rules:
Series competitors must run all 3 events to be eligible for championship awards

Winners will be determined by combined time of the 3 events

Tie breaker, if needed, will be based on finish placement at the 3 races

Cash prizes for top 5 Male & top 5 Female Series Winners

All winners must be members of USATF prior to the beginning of the final race in the series

Women's Athlete Development Program (AADP)
The 2006 USA Track and Field Association Athlete Development Program (AADP) will again be providing opportunities for emerging distance athletes to travel to competitive road races around the country. A travel stipend, waived entry and special athlete events are provided to athletes.

In order for young ladies to be eligible, they must have a 2006 USATF membership, be a U.S. citizen, and have met one of the following time standards:

5K 16:45-18:38,
8K 27:20-30:25,
10K 35:00-39:00,
15K 52:45-1:00:05,
10 Mile 56:35-1:05:00,
20K 1:11:15-1:21:10,
½ Marathon 1:15:10-1:26:44,
Marathon 2:42:00-3:03:00.

In memory of Alexzandra Danielle Loos, celebrating her legacy of excellence in sports, academics and community service. She was beginning her sophomore year at Bentworth HS in the fall of 2004 Returning from cross country practice, she was struck by a car and killed.
From Alex with Love is a non-profit charitable foundation. The primary objective is to award scholarships to local high school students in Washington & Green County. There will be over $2,500 worth of scholarships awarded this year. For more information click on the link above.
