USA Track & Field (USATF) is the National Governing Body for track & field, long-distance running and race walking in the United States. If you participate in any of these three disciplines as an athlete, coach, volunteer, official, administrator, parent or enthusiast, USATF is you.
Led by President Bill Roe and CEO Craig Masback, USATF is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization with a small staff of program administrators headquartered in Indianapolis. Our programs appeal and extend to all levels of the sport, from children through adults, from newcomers to the sport to Olympic champions.
The Mission
The mission of USATF is to provide vision and leadership to the sport of Athletics in the United States, and to promote the pursuit of excellence from youth to masters, from grassroots to the Olympic Games.
