Only 183 to go!!  Our current membership number is 4,817.  The second highest membership total since 2001, the year from which records are available.  Our highest number was 5,307, which we attained last year as a result of our hosting the Outdoor Junior Olympic Nationals at Morgan State University. This year's numbers reflect the effect of having the Indoor Youth National and Master's National meets at the Prince Georges Sports and Learning Complex this past winter, as well as our ongoing excellent youth program.  If past years are any indicator we should easily exceed the 5,000 mark when the Cross Country season begins.

On August 9, 2013 in Pittsburgh, PA, the GNC Live Well Liberty Mile will be hosting the 2013 USATF Masters 1 Mile Road Championship. We are working closely with USATF on spreading the word about the event but wanted to make sure all the USATF member clubs in the Potomac Valley Association are aware of this great racing opportunity.
