PVA ELECTIONS COMING THIS SEPTEMBER
In accordance with Article 9 and Operating Regulation 1 of the PVA Bylaws, PVA will hold its election of officers and sport committee chairs at the Annual Meeting this September 27, 2014, from 1-5 PM. The meeting will be held at:
Wayne K. Curry Sports & Learning Complex
8001 Sheriff Road, Town Hall (upstairs),
Landover, MD 20785.
To be contested will be the offices of President, Vice President (4), Secretary and Treasurer.
In addition, the following sport committee chairs will be contested: Men’s Track and Field, Women’s Track and Field, Master’s Track and Field, Men’s Long Distance Running, Women’s Long Distance Running, Master’s Long Distance Running, Racewalk, Youth and Officials Certification.
Nominations to the above positions can either be sent to the Member Services Committee at:

or emailed to Herb Nicholls at: email@example.com. All nominations should be sent so that they arrive at the above address or email at least one full week before the election. Individuals nominated should submit an acceptance notification regarding their willingness to serve in the nominated position. Additional nominations will be accepted at the meeting before elections are conducted.

to Amend the Bylaws of PVA-USATF
to Eliminate Term Limits for Officers
1 - Action
To amend the Bylaws of the Potomac Valley Association to eliminate the
term limit on Officers.
Elections of Officers: Elections for all officers of the Association shall
be conducted by secret ballot every two years coinciding with the Summer
and Winter Olympiad at the Annual Meeting which shall be held in
September. Each elected
officer will serve a term of two (2) years ((with a three (3) term limit
equal to six years)). Each
