For any last minute updates on the Region 9 Meet, please go to: www.precision-timing.com The Junior Olympic Meets are a series of meets that begin with the District Level in the OK Association. The top 8 from each District JO in each event and in each age group may advance to the State JO. For more information to to the Track & Field page. From the State JO the top 6 in each event and each age group may advance to the Region 9 JO. From the Region 9 JO the top 3 in each event and age group may advance to the National JO Championships. A few guidelines must be adhered to: all athletes who compete in any of the JO series, must be current USATF membership card holders by the day of the first District JO. Only current USATF Clubs may have athletes compete in relays. For individual membership and/or club membership, please contact Gina McKee. Advancing to the OK Assoc. State JO Championship: athletes that participate in the Great Southwest MUST be current USATF members as of the date of the OK District meets and complete an advancement form (or have a coach complete one for them) at the District meet and then turn in the results of the Great Southwest showing that they competed. There will be no exceptions for missing a qualifying meet aside from another national or invitational only track meet. (i.e. SAT testing ACT testing, etc.) |
