USATF Missouri Valley Youth Chair Kenneth Ferguson urges high school and college athletes to seek the advice of state high school associations or compliance officers before competing for a club that will be competing for prize money in USATF's Club Championships. READ THE LETTER

USATF's largest competitive track and field program for youth is the Junior Olympics, where nearly 70,000 youth athletes compete each year in the Track & Field and Cross Country championships.
Each year, meets are held at the state, regional and national levels. Youth compete in age groups.

On the non-competitive side, USA Track and Field
Champion" program, which showcases star athletes speaking with local
schools about the importance of fitness, a healthy lifestyle, living
