2005 Missouri Valley Cross Country Championships

There was a discussion for the date of the 2005 championships.  The

Other meets to host such as the North Region are possible if there is any

interest or commitment to host the meet

2004 Missouri Valley USATF cross country meet will be held in Liberty,

                        Recruiting new officials

Numbers are about the same.  Many officials are not returning emails, so we are unable to contact.  Officials numbers could drop in this next year.  It would be good for coaches to recruit their own officials.  NCAA recognizes all USATF certified officials.  Information from college coaches about former athletes as potential people to contact will be pursued.

Attracting masters athletes

A masters chair is needed.  The masters chair could put information on a website and communicate with masters athletes.

Promoting elite clubs was discussed.  If revenue increases this is an area

the board would like to develop.
