The Border Association |
|
The Border Association is a member association of USA Track & Field representing the geographic area of the following counties in the state of Texas: El Paso, Hudspeth, Culberson, Jeff Davis, Presidio, Brewster, Terrell, Pecos and Reeves. Our members , (about 90% are youth under 19 years of age), compete in many different disciplines and age groups. The Border Association/USATF oversees and administers programs in track and field, long distance running, ultrarunning, race walking and youth athletics. The Border Association sanctions many athletic events annually, providing much-needed liability insurance to event managers and host communities. Border is part of USATF's Region 10. This region includes four other associations: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. |
