The JO Competition is open to all Arizona Association athletes, that
will not reach their 19th birthday on or before the day of the National JO XC Track Meet (12/09).
USA Track & Field membership is required. To represent a club or organization,
that group must be a a current member in good standing, with USA Track & Field.
Open and Masteres athletes may compete in the USATF long distance and cross country championships.
The meet will be held at the same place and day as the JO meet but will start at 8:00 AM. See the schedule for this meet.

||Junior Olympic individual medals will be awarded to the first 15 place finishers in each event.
||Hand timing will be used for each event.
||Current USA Track and Field youth athletic rules will govern.
||Coaches, team leaders, and parents are responsible fot the conduct of all their athletes. Failure to maintain
proper control and to display good sportsmanship/could result in disqualification from the meet.
||All finishers in all age divisions, and the top three teams, both boys and girls, may advance to the Region X JO Cross Country Chanpionships. The 2017 Regional competition will be held Saturday, November 16 at Chamizal National Park in El Paso, Texas. Entry into the Regional meet will be done on line at Athletic.net The entry deadline for the Regional race in November 15.
