Note: All competitors in this meet automatically qualify for the State Games of the West Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado July 24-27, 2008. Approximately 8,000 athletes from 13 Western States will be competing for Pride and medals. The event will be held at the US Air Force Academy and the US Olympic Training Center.
Eligibility: Competition is open to all youth athletes, USA Track & Field membership is not required.
Entry Fee: $3.00 per youth athlete.
Entry: All USATF entries will be done on-line at CoachO Entries
The on -line registration deadline is midnight May 28(MST)

Grand Canyon State Games entries may be on on line at www.gcsg.org (subject to service change). Paper entries will also be accepted thru the GCSG office.

Corrections may be made by Friday noon May 30, with Association Office
Event Limits: Sub-Bantam, Bantam, and Midget - three events including relays.
Youth through Young Men/Women - four events including relays.
Note: Sub-Bantam athletes will be limited to the following events -
    100m, 200m, 4x100m, and long jump.
Facilities: Nine lane all weather track.
Awards: Ribbons will be awarded to the 1st thru 6th place finishers.
Rules: Current USA Track and Field rules will govern. Only competing athletes
will be permitted on the track or infield area, except for medical emergencies.
Protest: All protests must be made in writing, to the referee, not later than 30
minutes after the results of an event have been announced. Proper rule
reference must be cited. All protests must be accompanied by a $50.00
cash deposit. Deposit will be refuded if protest is upheld, forfeited if protest is denied.
Check In
Track:
Two calls will be given for each event. Athletes in running events must
report to the clerk of the course, ready to compete, and stay in the area.
Conduct: Coaches and parents are responsible for the conduct of their team members.
Failure to maintain proper control and to display good sportsmanship, could
result in the removal of the team or individual from further competition.
No smoking or alcohol will be allowed on the field of competition or in the stands.
