Eligibility: The 20K State Championship is open to all Open and Masters USATF members.
The JO Competition is open to all Arizona Association youth athletes who will not reach their 19th birthday on or before the day of the National JO XC Track Meet(12/12).
USA Track & Field membership is required. To represent a club or organization, that group must be a a current member in good standing, with USA Track & Field.
Entry Fee: Youth: $10.00 per athlete.
USA Track & Field membership is required and may be purchased the day of the meet, and will be valid through 2016.
Entry By: Adult entries may be done at the meet.
Youth entries must be done on-line at www.coacho.com by selectng the meet date and location.
The meet deadline is November 11 at Midnight.
Awards: Junior Olympic medals will be awarded to the first 15 place finishers in each youth event
State Championship medals will be awarded to adult athletes.
Rules: Current USA Track and Field youth athletic rules will govern.
Chip timing will be used.
Conduct: Coaches, team leaders, and parents are responsible fot the conduct of all their athletes. Failure to maintain proper control and to display good sportsmanship/could result in disqualification from the meet.
Packet Pickup: At the meet Saturday November 14th.
Region 10 meet: Youth finishers and the top three teams in each youth division in this meet may advance to the Region 10 Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships to be held Saturday November 21st in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Per USATF rule 300.1(c) Athletes must be at least seven (7) years of age on December 31 of the current year to compete at the Youth Athletics or Junior Olympic National Championships. Entry to the Regional meet must be done on-line at www.coacho.com by November 17th.
