Youth and Adult

Eligibility: Competition is open to all athletes with current USA Track & Field membership.
To represent a club or organization, that group must
have a current membership with USA Track & Field.
Membership may be purchased at the meet.
Entry: All entries are per event:
Before midnight February 10: Youth entries $3.50; Adult entries $6.50.
After midnight February 10: Youth entries $5.00; Adult entries $8.00. (Space available basis)

All USATF AZ entries will be done on-line at CoachO Entries
The on -line reqistration deadline is Midnight February 10, 2010 (MST)
Corrections may be made by noon February 11, thru the Association Office.
No Mailed, Faxed, or E-mail entries will be accepted.

Events: Mile, 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 4x300m, 60m Hurdles, LJ, HJ, SP, and PV.
Event Limits: Sub-Bantam, Bantam, and Midget - three events including relays.
All others - four events including relays.
Note: Sub-Bantam athletes will be limited to the following events -
    60m, 200m, 4x300m , and Long Jump.
Facilities: Six lane (8 lane stright-away) 300m flat Mondo track.
Spikes 1/8" Pyramid or less will be allowed, no needle or Christmas Tree spikes.
Timing: LYNX timing will be used, with hand timing backup.
Awards: Custom medals 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Ribbons will be awarded to the 4th thru 6th place finishers.
Rules: Current USA Track and Field rules will govern. Only competing athletes
will be permitted on the track or infield area, except for medical emergencies.
Running Events: All running events will be conducted as timed finals, except the 60m dash, which will
have trials and finals. All relay team members must wear a top and shorts of the same color.
Events will be run youngest to oldest, girls first, except the hurdles, which will be run
oldest to youngest, boys first.
Field Events: All competitors in the Long Jump and Shop Put will be given 3 attempts with the top six advancing to the finals for three more attempts. All throwing implements will be certified prior to use.
Protest: All protests must be made in writing, to the referee, not later than 30
minutes after the results of an event have been announced. Proper rule
reference must be cited. All protests must be accompanied by a $50.00
cash deposit. Deposit will be refuded if protest is upheld, forfeited if protest is denied.

Check In: Two calls will be given for each event. Athletes in running events must
report to the clerk of the course, ready to compete, and stay in the area.
Field event athletes must report directly to the official in charge of their
field event. Athletes must noftify the official in charge of their field event,
before leaving to report to the clerk for their running event. Athletes must
report back to their field event within 5 minutes of completion of their runing event.

Conduct: Coaches and parents are responsible for the conduct of their team members.
Failure to maintain proper control and to display good sportsmanship, could
result in the removal of the team or individual from further competition.

The rate is $79 with breakfast included. Ask for the "USATF Indoor Classic" rate.
This room block will be held until February 1st and afterwords on a space available basis.
Packet pick-up will be from 3 P.M. until 9 P.M. Saturday at the meet HQ
Scratch's and adds (on a space available basis) will be accepted at that time.
