The Mollen Clinic presents the Phoenix 10k on November 9, 2008 at Wesley Bolin Plaza and it will also be the host of the USATF Arizona Association 10 kilometer championship. Information on the race can be found on their website at

Year in and year out this has been one of Arizona's classic road races and USATF is proud to be associated with this participant's favorite event. In addition to the 10 kilometer race there will also be a 5k run first with enough time for recovery to allow the hardy racers to double up. And double up may just be what some of you may want.
As the Long Distance Committee works to increase exposure for USATF on the roads, USATF Championship medals will go fifty deep for both men and women in the 10k and Association medals will be awarded fifty deep in the 5k for both men and women also. You'll need to be running six minute pace or faster to snag one in either of the men's race and at least seven thirty pace to take one home in the women's races.
Last year this event attracted nearly 3000 finishers for the 10k and almost 900 for the 5k.
