Your Involvement Will Make a Difference!

The USA Distance project is devoted to sustaining the long-term development of elite USA distance athletes so they can compete successfully in both domestic and international competitions, including major championship events.

The USA Distance Project is a partnership of USA Track & Field and major U.S. events and running-related corporations and will provide yearly funding to the existing network of USA Distance Centers as well as support athlete and coaching summits leading to major international competitions. This partnership will maintain a collective commitment towards developing athletes through the next Olympiad and beyond.

You can become a valued partner in USA Track & Field's efforts to enhance the development of elite long distance running athletes.

There is a level of involvement for everyone:

Bronze Medal Level Partner: $10,000 per year for a five-year commitment

  • Distinct insignia will be created for use on the website, promotional materials and media releases to promote the events that partner in supporting our future Olympians.
  • Recognition in the regular updates on the Team USA Distance Centers provided to USATF media outlets.
  • Event/Company logo and links on the Team USA Distance Project page of www.usatf.org.
  • Support from Team USA Distance Centers as well as Elite Development Clubs and USATF Association Development Athletes in the form of event participation by available athletes from these programs to the Bronze Level Partner event.

Silver Medal Level Partner: $20,000 per year for a five-year commitment

  • All Bronze Partner level premiums
  • Distinct insignia will be created for use on the website, promotional materials and media releases to promote the events that partner in supporting our future Olympians.
  • Recognition in weekly updates on the Team USA Distance Project provided to USATF media outlets.
  • Event logo and links on the Team USA Distance Project page of www.usatf.org.
  • Support from Team USA Distance Centers as well as Elite Development Clubs and USATF Association Development Athletes in the form of event and promotional participation by available ranked athletes from these programs to the events related to Silver Level Partners.
  • Assistance with ticket purchases for the IAAF World Championships or Summer Olympic Games and inclusion in Team USA delegation (where possible).

Gold Medal Level Partner: $50,000 per year for a five-year commitment

  • All Silver Partner level premiums
  • Support from Team USA Distance Centers as well as Elite Development Clubs and USATF Association Development Athletes in the form of event and promotional participation by selected athletes from these programs to the events related to Gold Level Partners.
  • Waived rights fee for USA Championships (road championships only).
  • Distinct insignia will be created for use on the website, promotional materials and media releases to promote the events and corporations that demonstrate their leadership in supporting our future LDR Olympians.
  • Recognition as a Team USA Distance Project Gold Partner in all media releases.
  • Recognition in weekly updates on the Team USA Distance Centers provided to USATF media outlets.
  • Event and/or corporate logo and links on the Team USA Distance Project page of www.usatf.org.
  • Featured updates on pages with USATF Media Partner(s).
  • Promotional mention and logo presence in a 60-90 second TV feature of Team USA Distance Project (to air on USATF programs).
  • Direct representation on the USA Distance Project Grant Committee
  • Premium event tickets and VIP hospitality passes for two at a Visa Championship Series event or USA National Championship event
