2009: Coming off of an Olympic Year, while other athletes scaled their schedules back, Truck stepped up to the line once again establishing a goal of 50,000 miles over 50 events, across all that is the intercontinental United States. Now, working under the tutelage of Juris and Drew, these new Captains of the road provide a younger approach to training. While Truck was hauling strong during the indoor season, setting a USATF record of 13 states in under 3 weeks, she incurred a minor injury while in route to the 2009 Tyson Invitational in Arkansas, losing a front, left generator panel as a result of gale force winds. Now, fully recovered, Truck will be challenged with a rigorous outdoor schedule; one that will see her crisscrossing the country going from Indianapolis to LA to New York and back West to Eugene- with many stops between - for outdoor championships. It will be a true test of fitness, but with great driving and coaching it should be yet another successful season.
2008: For her debut year, Truck scored more than 40,000 miles and 30 events. Truck trained under the guidance of experienced driver, Mike Coleman. Set a USATF age-group record of traveling across 38-states. Set a personal high-mark with a fill-up of $129.36
