About the Truck

USA Track & Field's Mobile Marketing Unit has an extensive tour schedule, which includes stops at various track & field meets, road races, and other track & field and running related events throughout the country. Two Tour Operators will work as a team, driving from event to event and executing the core aspects of the tour.

The goal of the tour is to promote USA Track & Field (USATF). To achieve this goal, the tour will:

• Promote USATF membership
• Support anti-doping campaign efforts
• Visit member club practices and clinics
• Support the Visa Championship Series and National Championship events
• Sell USATF/Nike merchandise
• Promote the USA Track & Field Foundation
• Visit various running specialty group stores and major road race expos
• Conduct group runs and autograph sessions
• And utilize www.usatf.org for promoting the tour

By attending the events and visiting the truck and trailer, you can learn more about track and field, shop for authentic USATF merchandise, sign up for a USATF membership, learn about the group run schedule, meet professional athletes, and participate in contests and other activities.

The Tour Operators will share their tales from the trail on the USATF Web site through the "Blogging Miles" blog as well as through photos and videos. Highlights will include races, running clubs, coaches, athletes and interesting people met along the way - including you!
