In their own words…
Running achievement I am most proud of: Being part of the team bronze medal winning performance at the 2005 24-Hour World Challenge and the team gold medal winning performance at the 2009 100Km World Cup. Both occasions were true team efforts as each member faced their own challenges throughout these events, yet motivated and inspired one another, working together to achieve successful team finishes.
Why I run: I appreciate the simplicity and purity of self-propulsion. I’m blessed with the ability to run and possess a true love for the sport.
Future goals: To remain versatile and competitive across several ultra distances; to tackle more age-group records; but mostly to continue to enjoy my passion and accomplish balance between my professional and athletic goals.
