Post Collegiate Scholarship Fund (PCSF)/ Emerging Elite Athlete Symposium (EEAS)

The Post Collegiate Scholarship Fund (PCSF) is one of USATF’s programs in which look to fill the “developmental gap” that many athletes experience in the year or two after they complete their collegiate track and field eligibility.
In order to apply for the Post Collegiate Scholarship Fund (PCSF) this program:
1.       The athlete must have completed/forfeited* their NCAA (collegiate track and field eligibility)- 2016/2017 track and field season/school year based on one of the following:

  • Completed eligibility after a Cross Country season – November (2016)
  • Completed eligibility after an Indoor season – March (2017)
  • Completed eligibility after an Outdoor season – June (2017)

2.       Achieved the 2017 IAAF World Championship Standard in their event
*Note: The cutoff date to forfeit collegiate eligibility is August 15, 2017 for the purposes of this program. 

In addition, recipients are required to attend the Educational Summit (i.e. Emerging Elite Athlete Symposium formerly known as “Rookie Camp”) conducted by USATF, which features seminars on drug testing, life as an Elite Athlete, USOC/USATF support programs, and media training. Athletes who meet the criteria will be considered at least a Tier 3 athlete in 2018 if they do not qualify for a higher Tier.
Program recipients who attend the symposium will also qualify for a one-time stipend in the amount of $5,000.
