Minority Women Coaching Education Scholarship

A matching grant provided by the NCAA and USA Track & Field will fund scholarships for a select number of minority women coaches to attend USATF Coaching Education courses during the 2013 calendar year. These scholarships are available to ethnic minority women track and field coaches.

The Level 1 and Level 2 - Event Specialization Scholarships have been disbursed. The only available scholarship is for the Level 2 - Youth Specialization Course. Please apply below.

Eligibility

This scholarship is available to ethnic minority women coaches.

Requirements

  • Must be a current USA Track & Field Member
  • Be a current member of the Coaches Registry
  • Provide a resume of coaching background/experience
  • Provide a letter of recommendation

Application Process and Notification

The scholarship application is available online via the link below. Only complete applications will be accepted for review. Prior to starting the application please ensure you have all of the above information readily available, including your 2013 USATF membership number and password.


Level 1 awardees will be notified within two weeks of application submission. Level 1Scholarships will be awarded until funds are depleted. All Scholarships must be utilized during the 2013 academic year. Level 2 applicants will be contacted within 2 weeks of the stated deadline.
