Minority Women Coaching Education Scholarship

A matching grant provided by the NCAA and USA Track & Field will fund scholarships for a select number of minority women coaches to attend USATF Coaching Education courses during the 2012 academic year. These scholarships are available to ethnic minority women track and field coaches.

At this time we are only accepting applications for the Level 2 - Youth Specialization Course. All other program scholarships have been dispersed.

Eligibility

This scholarship is available to ethnic minority women coaches.

Requirements

  • Must be a current USA Track & Field Member
  • Be a current member of the Coaches Registry
  • Provide a resume of coaching background/experience
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from the Athletic Director or Head Coach of current coaching position (if applicable)

Application Process and Notification

The scholarship application is available online via the link below. Only complete applications will be accepted for review. Prior to starting the application please ensure you have all of the above information readily available, including your 2012 USATF membership number and password.

Awardees will be notified within two weeks of application submission. Scholarships will be awarded until funds are depleted. All Scholarships must be utilized during the 2012 academic year.

Successful applicants will be expected to submit an evaluation form upon completion of the school. Evaluation Form and must be received within 30 days following the event.
