Registration Information

$205.00 - Pre-registration (received by midnight (EST) June 3, 2018)
$255.00 - Late and on-site registration (received after midnight (EST) June 3, 2018)

All online and onsite registrations require a credit or debit card for payment. No cash or personal checks will be accepted.

Refund policy:  1/2 of the registration fee ($ 102.50) will be refunded after the pre- registration deadline and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, terry.crawford@usatf.org. Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

Instructors:

David Pavlansky: was head boys' track and cross country coach at Boardman High School from 1999 –2010.  Twice named OAT&CCC District 1 Boys' Track Coach of the Year, Dave received the 2007 Fred Daffler State Coach of the Year Award for Boys' Cross Country.  In 2007 he was among 10 sprint coaches selected nationwide by the USATF to attend the Emerging Elite Coaches' School in Orlando, Florida.  During Dave’s tenure Boardman teams produced both Indoor and Outdoor state champions as well as two Nike All-Americans.  Dave has USATF Level 2 certifications in Jumps, Endurance, and Sprints / Hurdles / Relays and he currently serves as USATF Regional Coordinator of Coaching Education for the Midwest and East

Andrew Allden: Currently head coach of the women’s cross country team at the University of South Carolina, Andrew Allden will be the school’s Endurance instructor.  He is a Level 1 and Level 2 Endurance instructor and has 19 years experience as a Division I collegiate coach.  He has coached a Division I Men’s National Champion in the 800m and in 2003 was named Southeast Men’s Coach of the Year.

Glenn McAtee:  A veteran USATF Level 1 and Level 2 instructor, McAtee is also USATF Level 3 certified in the Throws. He is currently the Head Boys Coach of J.L. Mann High School in Greenville, SC. McAtee's coaching experience also includes 10 years at the NCAA Division I level, with stops at Clemson University and Cal State Northridge. 

Shawn Venable: is assistant coach for jumps and hurdles and recruiting coordinator at Liberty University. He has coached several All-Americans, conference champions and school record holders in the sprints and jumps events. Venable holds multiple coaching education certifications, including the highest attainable certification with USATF Level 3 and IAAF Level V certification in Jumps, Sprints/Hurdles, and Combined Events. In addition to coaching, he also serves as the USATF Level 1 Regional Coordinator for the Southeast region.
