All online and onsite registrations require a credit or debit card for payment. No cash or personal checks will be accepted.

Refund policy:  1/2 of the registration fee ($ 102.50) will be refunded after the pre- registration deadline and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

If you have any difficulties with the online registration process, please contact the School Director.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, terry.crawford@usatf.org. Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

Coming from the north: From Interstate 5 southbound, take exit 109 Martin Way. Turn right off the exit onto Martin Way. At the first traffic light, turn left onto College Street*. Turn left onto Abbey Way/6th Avenue SE, then follow the signs to the desired campus location.

Coming from the south: From Interstate 5 northbound, take exit 108 Sleater Kinney Road/College Street. After exiting, stay to the left toward College Street. Continue on 3rd Avenue SE. Turn right on College Street*. Turn left at the next traffic light onto Abbey Way, then follow the signs to the desired campus location.

Instructors

Dr. Matt Lydum is the Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Pacific University. Previously he has held head coaching positions at Pendleton High School in Eastern Oregon, San Francisco State University, and Defiance College in Ohio. He has served as USOC delegate to the International Olympic Academy and was project writer for the Human Kinetics text, Coaching Youth Track & Field. 
 
Tom Millbrooke: is the Head Men's and Women's Track & Field / Cross Country Coach at Canby High School. Coach Millbrooke is starting his 38th season as a head track and field coach. He has been described as "One of Oregon's most respected coaches and an asset to our sport.” He has successfully taught Level 1 Schools for the past 26 years and serves as the Chair of Coaches Education for USATF Oregon.
 
Peter Thompson has worked with individuals from school level through to national record holders and world record holders. The athletes he has coached have competed in the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) Track & Field World Championships, Road World Championships and Cross Country World Championships. He wrote new and updated materials, including Introduction to Coaching - the Official IAAF Guide to Coaching Athletics (2009) and Run! Jump! Throw! - the Official IAAF Guide to Teaching Athletics (2009).
