Registration Information

$205.00 - Pre-registration (received by 6:00 PM (EST) January 19, 2018)

All online and onsite registrations require a credit or debit card for payment. No cash or personal checks will be accepted.

All received registrations are posted on the Registration Status page (Once on the registration status page click on the school location in blue to view the registration list).

Refund policy: 1/2 of the registration fee ($ 102.50) will be refunded after January 5, 2018 and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

If you have any difficulties with the online registration process, please contact the School Director.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, terry.crawford@usatf.org. Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

When you get to 998 Cole Drive SW turn into the school entrance by the small matrix sign.  Go up the hill and behind the school past our press box (on the right).  Take the first right DOWN the hill towards our field houses.  If you get to the back of the school/baseball stadium parking lot, you have gone too far.

Parking: Limited spaces are available at the field house.  Plenty on the hill just above it.  Stadium parking lot will also be open and you can walk the track to the field house

USATF Level 1 School will be in the Field House Pro Room facing the stadium with the Parkview sign at the 100m start area of the track.  First room inside the main entrance on the right.

Instructors

Loren Seagrave: A USATF Master Coach in the Sprints and Hurdles, current Director of Track & Field and Cross Country at IMG Academy, and Co-Founder of Speed Dynamics and Velocity Sports Performance; Seagrave has coached dozens of World Championships and Olympic Medalists throughout his coaching career. He is an original instructor for USATF Coaching Education Programs, beginning in 1983, and has served as the Sprints/Hurdles curriculum coordinator for IAAF Coach Education.

Mike Judge: Head Coach for Throw 1 Deep Club in Marietta, Georgia, Judge has coached multiple state and national champions in the throws and is an expert in training for speed and power events. Coach Judge was the 2013 NASF national high school coach of the year.  He has his USATF Level 3/IAAF Level V certification in throws and is also an instructor for the USATF Level 2 Program.

Ryan Bailey: Head Cross Country/Track and Field Coach at the University of West Georgia, Bailey's coaching experience spans over 20 years with 15 years of NCAA head coaching experience. Bailey previously coached at Mercer University and is IAAF Level V/USATF Level 3 certified in Endurance.

Cornelius Young: Young is responsible for Sprints/Hurdles, Throws and Jump events at Oglethorpe University. He has earned USATF Level 3 and IAAF Level 5 certifications (the highest attainable) in Jumps as well as participating in USOC/USATF Emerging Elite Coaches Camp and Master Coach Mentorship for Sprints/Hurdles/Relays.  Coach Young has a USATF Level 2 certification in Combined Events.  In addition, he holds Strength & Conditioning credentials recognized by NCAA and other organizations.  Young is a catalyst to success of many upcoming elite athletes.
