Registration for this school is open to LA84 Foundation/USATF Level 1 School Grant recipients only. No more applications will be accepted. Waitlisted applicants will be notified should a spot open. Click here for grant information.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

Terry Crawford:  After a 35-year college coaching career spanning The University of Tennessee, University of Texas and Cal Poly, in which she was named National Coach of the Year six times, Terry leads all the coaching programs at USATF as Director of Coaching. She is a master coach in middle/long distance and a skilled technician in the biomechanics of running. Crawford served as the 1988 Head Women’s Olympic Coach.

Chris Richardson: Holds the position of Director of Track and Field/Cross-Country at Cerritos College, Norwalk where in his last four years has won 6 South Coast Conference Titles, 4 Southern California Regional Championships, and 2 State Championships. Other then the direct management and leadership of the Cerritos College Track and Field/Cross-Country program Richardson and personally developed 18 All-Americans, 6 State Champions, and aided the matriculation of 64 student athletes. Chris has taught USATF level 1 coaches education since 2011 and has directed numerous coaches education schools. Being a product of the USATF Coaching Education system by obtaining Level 1, 2, and 3 certifications, while staying involved in IAAF, NACAC, and Podium Education opportunities. Also, serving as Women's Coach for the 2015 Pan Am Combined Event Cup in Ottawa, CA and 2016 NACAC Championships U23 Throws Coach. 

Eric Dixon: Coach Dixon has competed and coached Sprints, Hurdles and Relays for over 40 years, concentrating mainly on sprinting events. He has coached many; nationally ranked youth athletes, World and American Masters record holders. He is certified to coach Elite Youth and Adult athletes for National/International/Olympic level competition via USA Track & Field (USATF) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). Coach Dixon is an IAAF Level V Academy Elite coach in Sprints/Hurdles, USATF Level 3 sprints/hurdles/relays and USATF Youth Specialization Level 2. In addition, Dixon served as the Head Sprint Coach for the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program. He is also the Coaches Education Committee Chair for USATF Southern California Association.
