All online and onsite registrations require a credit or debit card for payment. No cash or personal checks will be accepted.

Refund policy:  1/2 of the registration fee ($ 102.50) will be refunded after the pre- registration deadline and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

If you have any difficulties with the online registration process, please contact the School Director.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, terry.crawford@usatf.org. Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

Instructors

Dr. Matt Lydum is the Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Pacific University. Previously he has held head coaching positions at Pendleton High School in Eastern Oregon, San Francisco State University, and Defiance College in Ohio. He has served as USOC delegate to the International Olympic Academy and was project writer for the Human Kinetics text, Coaching Youth Track & Field. 
 
David Pavlansky: was head boys' track and cross country coach at Boardman High School from 1999 –2010.  Twice named OAT&CCC District 1 Boys' Track Coach of the Year, Dave received the 2007 Fred Daffler State Coach of the Year Award for Boys' Cross Country.  In 2007, he was among 10 sprint coaches selected nationwide by USATF to attend the Emerging Elite Coaches' School in Orlando, Florida.  During Dave’s tenure, Boardman teams produced both Indoor and Outdoor state champions as well as two Nike All-Americans.  Dave has USATF Level 2 certifications in Jumps, Endurance, and Sprints / Hurdles / Relays and he currently serves as USATF Regional Coordinator of Coaching Education for the Midwest and Upper East Coast.
 
Peter Thompson has worked with individuals from school level through to national record holders and world record holders. The athletes he has coached have competed in the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) Track & Field World Championships, Road World Championships and Cross Country World Championships. He wrote new and updated materials, including Introduction to Coaching - the Official IAAF Guide to Coaching Athletics (2009) and Run! Jump! Throw! - the Official IAAF Guide to Teaching Athletics (2009).
